sunset diagional

Here is a quick and easy diagonal mani - The base is 3 coats of  a lighter apricot coloured Kozmic Colours polish, with a darker rose/copper diagonal.

For me - this is a plain look, I have a hard time trying to wear coral, orange and peach/apricot coloured polish's; I think the colours are pretty but I never gravitate towards them when it's time to choose a nail colour ( even though I seem to have many of these colours)

 colours I used

I just used plain old Scotch tape for this diagonal mani

LMN Diva, Sally Hansnen Cinnamon Incence & some exciting news ( lol for me)

Here is Cinnamon Incense; 2 coats, with Sinful Colors Call You Later; 2 coats, with 1 coat of Nailene TC.  I love how the green and small gold glitter in Sinful Colors Call You Later looks in the sun. The green is very prominent, while the tiny gold flakes of glitters catch the sun, and send off the most beautiful..... the most beautiful.... glint? or sparkle.... see I am mesmerized and cannot think of the correct term!

The exciting news is one of my craft projects was featured on an awesome decorating blog.

..... and here is another mani! I finally got around to using Love My Nails Diva!

I love these bar glitters in Love My Nails Diva. It is an easy to apply bar glitter consisting mainly of bright fuchsia, with some medium blue bar glitters added in a perfect ratio as to not overpower the Fuchsia bar glitters. I found this at Walmart USA for $1.00. I know Love My Nails polish's do not get alot of exposure, but I think there is some hidden gems in this collection. I always regret not picking up a few more when I hit up Walmart USA.

This was 2 coats layered over Sinful Colors NYC - which I will re-post in a fresh manicure. When I applied the Sinful Colors NYC polish, I kept touching stuff with my nails; my desk, my hair, you know how that goes. As with most glitters, I find that after 2 coats I need to go over a few sparse areas. I applied a thick coat of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat and called it a day.

What is is with me marring my pinky nail lately?

Below - This is an older Sinful Colors polish, it is a medium grey with subtle teal micro-shimmer

♥ Maybelline Color-Rama Candy Apple ♥

4 thin coats w/ 1 coat of Nailene TC

This Maybelline Color-Rama polish is a beautiful shade of.... of ... ummm it looks coral indoors, bright neon fuschia outside and bright pink in the shade. It is a jelly finish  and although it is sheer, it built color nicely but still translucent enough for the remnants of my last mani to show through.

In the above photo you can see some areas of leftover polish from a previous mani. = OOps! I honestly thought I would hide it with this polish and did not realize it was a jelly finish till I did a full mani with it.

It is a very pretty shade and i am happy that even though it is a jelly finish it did even out and there is no weird bald/bare spots. This was part of my awesome dollar tree haul USA 2010 = Does anyone else in the world have this polish? What colour would you describe this as? I say it's a pinky coral, but I am not sure.............

♥ Wet n Wild - 'Blazed' ♥

Wet n' Wild Blazed - 3 coats RING 2 coats of White and 2 Coats of Wn'W Blazed = NO TOP COAT

"That color is offensive to me" -  This is what my DH said after a few hours of wear

I wore this polish earlier in the week, took a million photos and only 3 turned out okay. My perspective is that this is not a neon or fluorescent polish, but trying to get a good photo of my nails or my hands for that matter was impossible. My camera could not focus on this, and I dove myself nutz trying to get a good pic. It's not really a coral colour, its more of an orange/pink, if that makes any sense at all......

I plan on doing a little nail art with stickers, so I am not wearing a top coat with this at the moment. It is very shiny on it's own and so far has held up well, with no chipping or tip-wear. This really is a lovely shade, and for $1.87 CAD ( zellers stores at walmart it's $1.57) is worth having. Its a little on the sheer side, though, and my only complaint is that I wish it was a bit more opaque.

With 2 coats of white on my RING finger and then 2 coats of the 'Blazed' on top of that - it is definitely a very bright color - It doesn't seem as "harsh" as most neon corals = I like it ♥

2 coats of 'blazed' - RING 2 coats of Billie White - this white undercoat definitely makes a huge difference.

Finally , below photos form earlier this week when i wore blazed alone. I could not get a crisp and clear photo of this polish. i think this is a lovely shade and needs 3 coats  to look its best.
