Pure Ice Saddle Me Up

 I took a gazillion photos of this and could not get any pics that really captured the pretty colour of this polish. On the nail it looks exactly as it does in the bottle shot below ( after 4 coats ) I found this polish needed 4 coats, it dried super duper fast and is super duper pretty.

2 Essence polish's & My Kleancolor Chunky Black holo is actually Red....

It's not true! Nail Polish is for life = not 12 months!

Here are two lovely polish's from Essence Color & Go. Both of these applied perfectly. I love these cute little bottles and how the caps match the polish.


This is 3 coats of Walk on the Wild side and 2 coats of KleanColor Chunky Holo Clover..... I totally expected the KleanColor to dry satin-ey or matte but it dried to a shiny finish.

Essence Chic Reloaded is a very pretty multi chrome.....  I took a gazillion photos and could not capture all the beautiful colours this polish flashes.  This is two easy coats. I love how this polish applied and hope the rest of the shades in this collection have the same formula.

For comparison, below is 2 coats each of  Essence Where's the Part, Chic Reloaded and Wet n Wild Greys Anatomy. Wet n Wild Greys Anatomy is an extremely sheer polish and looks better layered over something.

I picked up this KleanColor holo mini's at Winners ( T.J.Maxx ) around X-mas time. For 4.99, these are a good deal. They are pretty much the same polish save for the Chunky black holo, and the pink shade which has the most notable hot pink jelly base, the rest of the polish's have a similar glitter and are only different in that they have slightly tinted jelly bases.


I planned on layering Chunky Holo Black over Essence Chic Reloaded but it turned the base colour purple.... instead of a darker polish shade like I had hoped.... oh well.

Hey Guys, Check out my Fa...........

.......errrr, umm.... Fanny means WHAT in British, South African, Australian, New Zealand, and Irish slang? Oh dear. 

Around these parts, where I live in central Canada, Fanny means 'Bum-cheeks'. Well, that's what it means to me and everyone I know. Hopefully I won't get kicked off blogger for writing Fanny for the next little while, because these $1.00 CAD polish's from the dollar store are really, really pretty, and I plan on wearing and posting on them for the next little while.

I have absolutely no idea what colour description to give mani today, I don't have any other polish's similar to this colour - anywhere near this colour, actually.

I found these pretty polish's for $1.00 each at a dollar store in Wpg. Canada. The shimmers all require 3 coats, they dried super shiny and all the brushes I got were perfect - no wonky bristles! I suspect that the green above and deep dark blue on the end below will stain my nails - they are intense colours....... the glitters also have surprisingly decent glitter coverage.

Like most Dollar store nail polish's, none of these have real names..... so I gave them my best description. Has anyone else spotted any of these polish's out there?

...... there is the slightest aroma of bad chemicals in these polish's, any familiar names listed here that can be found on the polish ingredient 'no-no' list?

Swanky Fishnet Nails

I have seen this on the interwebs a few times and decided to try it out myself. I'll call my first attempt a success = I don't think it would be possible for me to get crisp lines with this. Next time I try this it will be a base for some other type of nail art, using similar shades and possibly nail stickers.....

The base colour is a lovely polish I got from my mom that I have named 'Swanky'. I used Claire's Evergreen and Claire's Emerald City for the sponging. The fishnet material  was some leftover fabric that I used for Christmas Decorations.

Below -  The base colour of this polish is a murky burgundy, but it ends up being a rich Forest green with alot of micro shimmer..... how is this possible? The top is 3 coats and the bottom is 1 coat.

N.Y.C. High Line Green

WOW! This is an awesome polish. I love N.Y.C. In a New York Minute polish's - Most have great pigmentation, the have decent brushes and they dry fast. They are smaller than most drugstore polish's but that is reflected in the price.

This is an eye-catching colour  - I used 2 thick coats of N.Y.C. Highline Green, and a sponging of N.Y.C. Flat Iron Green with a coat of TC.

Flim Flam! Franken

 I found this awesome glitter at THE DOLLAR TREE CANADA! and had to whip up a franken ASAP. My heart was set on a pink/orange combo but this rediculously bright yellow flourecent glitter swayed me to whip up a 'Floam' like mani first.

I thought that the clear polish I usually use for fankens would dissolve the colour of the glitter but after two days there is still no bleeding......

I used a base of Wet n Wild White and applied 3 coats of my fanken 'Flim Flam!' This was a hungry glitter and even after  3 coats of TC it is still bumpy. I am excited to wip up at least 2 more of these with the neat glitter I found at THE DOLLAR TREE IN CANADA!!!!!

 I found these awesome glitters at THE DOLLAR TREE CANADA! I am happy that The Dollar Tree stores showed up in the big city ( Wpg ) ..... Now if a Diaso would end up in my Provence somewhere I would never complain about my nail polish availability ever again!

 I also picked up some beads and a few other crafty things.... no nail polish this time. They had a few displays of Billie Cosmetics nail polish which was awesome, but I already have evey single one!

 These are matte neon glitter, I think I will make a green and purple mix next. The other package of glitter is a sheer easter-grass-like glitter which also did well in the clear nail polish base I use....

Always have tape on hand to seal up these little packages of glitter!!!!

Ardene Gradient

 

 Here is cheerful sponge gradient using Ardene Matte About Blue and Appletini. This colour combo is very bright and eye-catching. I've seen 2 colour sponge gradient's all over the blogs last week and every single one of them looks awesome!!!! - you really can't go wrong with spong'in. Its so easy to do!

 I BRUSHED on the two colours first, 2 coats of each......

 Then blended the two colours together and sponged that on
