Pink Sponge with new Dollar Tree Polish's

This Mani was 3 coats of a no name Donna Michelle nail polish that I found at The Dollar Tree in Canada. I googled the name of this polish = but they don't have real names! So I am calling this Pink while the other polish shown below will be Dark Purple..... I thought for sure they would be one of those ultra stinky polishes from overseas but it wasn't that bad.

These Donna Michelle nail polish's appear to be in similar bottles to Klean Color nail polish's...... they also smell somewhat similar. Has anyone else tried these?

On it's own I fell like this took longer to dry then say..... Sally Hansen X-treme Wear polish or Wet n Wild - Wild Shine. It is a beautiful colour and for 1 dollar I can't complain. It looked like most of the polishes available at The Dollar Tree at the time were already taken in the display, so if I head to the big city again anytime soon I hope to pick up a few more of these.

After wearing this pink polish alone for the morning I had to I add a beautiful pink foil nail polish to the tips of my nails ..... I sponged on Billie Alloy, which is a light pink foil nail polish. Billie Cosmetics are another brand of polish that is available at the Dollar Tree. Check out this photo from summer - - ( from WPG, MB, by Hooters on St. James lol )

simple sponge with Midie nail polish

Sponge Mani's will always be my go to nail art - - it is so easy to do and almost always looks good. For this Mani I started with a coat of Wet n Wild French White Creme, waited for it to dry then sponged on hot pink, light blue and purple metallic nail polish from Midie.... The hardest part about sponge nail art is not getting polish on your cuticles - - - it really is fool proof!

- - no clean-up and no TC - -

Happy Friday everyone!

N.Y.C. High Line Green

WOW! This is an awesome polish. I love N.Y.C. In a New York Minute polish's - Most have great pigmentation, the have decent brushes and they dry fast. They are smaller than most drugstore polish's but that is reflected in the price.

This is an eye-catching colour  - I used 2 thick coats of N.Y.C. Highline Green, and a sponging of N.Y.C. Flat Iron Green with a coat of TC.

Sinful Colors Fly Away & See You Soon

Today's mani is a lovely saran wrap technique using a base of Sinful Colors Fly Away with See You Soon. I cant believe I haven't paired up these colours together before! Its a fabulous combo..... then again, maybe I have already  -  I have seen KleanColor Bite Me on 4 different blogs today - coveted it savagely, looked it up on the KleanColor website - googled image'd it and realized I ALREADY OWNED AND WORE IT  - twice!

The brush on Fly Away was a little stiffer than  I remember, I used 3 coats which dried fast and super duper shiny.

polishes  I used -  I have to get into the habit of photographing the names......

Saran wrap leaves less texture than a sponge, but creates the same effect

Left Top Coat, Right no Top Coat

Ardene Gradient

Here is cheerful sponge gradient using Ardene Matte About Blue and Appletini. This colour combo is very bright and eye-catching. I've seen 2 colour sponge gradient's all over the blogs last week and every single one of them looks awesome!!!! - you really can't go wrong with spong'in. Its so easy to do!

I BRUSHED on the two colours first, 2 coats of each......

Then blended the two colours together and sponged that on

 .... after the first sponging

and finished with top coat

sexy car wash sponge nail art

I used a small piece of those big peanut shaped sponges used for car washes that are often featured in saucy rap videos ..... the ones where they are scantily clad and washing fancy sports cars.....

The base of this mani is a lovely franken I made with a bright yellow polish and a white creme, I used LA Colors Radiation, Nuclear Energy and Static Electricity..... all from The Dollar Tree USA!

I started with a base of this lovely pale yellow franken

then dropped a small amount of polish onto a piece of tin foil, dipped the a corner of the sponge into the polish and applied it sparingly to my nails.

this, is LA Colors Radiation
