Once upon a time I polished my nails with a very pretty purple creme nail polish. I was so happy at how the purple beauty applied and at how it looked perfect with just one coat of polish. See I was going out of town to spend the weekend away with my favorite guy, so of course I wanted my nails to look nice and polished for the event. I was going to be gone for only 2 days but it was a much anticipated weekend. I had to have Milani Violet Dash on my nails.
And then, less than 24 hours later it all came crumbling down.
The chiptastic mess Violet Dash left behind was obvious enough for my favorite guy to snap a shot with his phone. Even HE (a manly man who doesn't understand much about girly products) commented on how short-lived my purple manicure was...
I admit there was no fairytale romance with this purple but still...I was attracted to it enough to want to wear it for a couple of days but oh boy what a let down!
I removed it all the minute I got home. This one is going to the place where nail polishes die in my closet. I'll live happily without it :)
Very pretty color! too bad it didn't last. I can't remember the last time I went without a top coat though..or wore my polish for more than 24hrs LOL
